Glebe Place is a five- to six-bedroom Victorian townhouse that has been conceived as a ‘private Tate Modern’. The property is situated on Glebe Place, one of Chelsea’s most sought-after addresses and home to numerous well-known artists since the Victorian era.
Following a two-year reconstruction project, this unique residence has been designed to serve as the perfect canvas for displaying artworks. A double-height living space features professional art-gallery lighting and specially commissioned pieces by Georgian artist Tamara Kvesitadze, while a newly constructed basement includes a 40-foot-long corridor that leads into a spacious dining room with a large aquarium inset into one of the walls.
Doubling as a family home and an artistic residence, this unique property also offers expansive outdoor spaces, including a spectacular timber-decked terrace that spans the entire roof.
