The spectacular mansion where the Queen’s party planner made her society debut is for sale for £11.25million.
The stunning London property, located between the well-heeled neighbourhoods of Chelsea and Knightsbridge, was home to Lady Elizabeth Anson, now 76, and her mother, Princess Anne of Denmark, during the 1958 summer social season.
Princess Anne, a first cousin of the Queen, hosted a number of gala dinners and balls to introduce her 16-year-old debutante daughter, marking the start of a glittering future as a society belle and a party planner extraordinaire.
Now the six-bedroom townhouse is on the market for the first time in 50 years.
