If James Bond were a real person he would surely live in the Loft. This flat’s masculine interiors are as sharp as 007 — wall-to-wall gloss and steel. Its location is also perfect for a spy: close to Buckingham Palace, Parliament, Downing Street, MI5 and MI6, as well as Bond’s club (Blades aka Pratt’s) should he fancy a martini.
The entrance to the small apartment block on Howick Place in Westminster, midway between Victoria and St James’s Park Tube stations, is appropriately discreet. Its interior, however, is anything but. The building’s former use as a Royal Mail sorting office may be evident in the industrial iron girders and supporting beams, but this is not your regular industrial chic warehouse.
